Terms of Service

1. About TrialTracker

TrialTracker ("we," "us," or "the platform") is an independent aggregation service that collects and displays dog sport trial information submitted by clubs and trial secretaries. TrialTracker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a replacement for any dog sport organization including NACSW, AKC, UKI, CPE, NADAC, UKC, WCRL, NAFA, USDAA, TDAA, ASCA, BHA, or any other organization. Always verify trial details directly with the hosting club or organization before entering.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TrialTracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

3. Beta Period & Pricing

TrialTracker is currently in beta. During the beta period:

• Handler accounts are free with no obligation to pay.
• Club and trial secretary accounts are free and will remain free after beta ends.
• The beta period is estimated to run through approximately May 2026, but may be extended at our discretion.
• When paid plans launch for handlers, founding beta members will receive a reduced rate. We will notify you by email before any charges begin.
• You will never be charged without explicit notice and the opportunity to cancel your account first.

4. Handler Accounts

As a handler, you may search trials, set preferences, and receive email alerts when trial entries open. You are responsible for verifying all trial details — including dates, entry requirements, and registration links — directly with the hosting club before entering any trial. TrialTracker is not responsible for inaccurate or outdated trial information.

5. Club & Trial Secretary Accounts

As a club or trial secretary, you may submit trials to the TrialTracker database at no charge. By submitting a trial, you confirm that:

• You are authorized to submit trial information on behalf of the hosting club.
• All information submitted is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will promptly update or remove a trial if dates, entry details, or event status change.

TrialTracker reserves the right to remove any trial listing that contains inaccurate information or violates these terms.

6. Email Alerts & Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails including account confirmation, email alerts for trial entry openings you have opted into, and important platform announcements. You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time by updating your preferences or contacting us at support@trialtracker.app. Transactional emails related to your account cannot be fully opted out of while your account is active.

7. Accuracy of Information

TrialTracker displays information submitted by clubs and trial secretaries. We do not independently verify trial details. Entry dates, locations, and registration links may change — always confirm with the hosting club or organization website before making travel plans or submitting an entry.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use TrialTracker to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent trial listings.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or the platform infrastructure.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

8a. No Automated Scraping

Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction of TrialTracker content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to:

• Using bots, spiders, or automated scripts to access or collect data from TrialTracker.
• Bypassing or circumventing any technical measures used to prevent automated access.
• Reproducing or redistributing scraped data in any form, commercial or otherwise.

TrialTracker employs bot detection and rate-limiting technology. Suspected automated access may be blocked and reported. Confirmed violations will be reported to trialtrackerapp@gmail.com and may result in permanent account suspension and legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

TrialTracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed trial entries, inaccurate information, service interruptions, or any damages arising from use of the platform. Your use of TrialTracker is at your own risk.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@trialtracker.app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
